"let me see that" instead of saying "let me have that" (an item of some sort).
See and have are NOT interchangeable.

He thinks who he is - I've heard people use this instead of "who does he think he is" and it's not that it bothers me, I just don't get it

No people. It is either:
"ANOTHER"
or
"A WHOLE OTHER "
To me, any time someone uses that phrase, it makes my toes curl and I want to clobber the person who says it like Captain Caveman.

No one in my family says that. I have no idea where I got it from, and it even drives ME crazy.
