TTC Lingo - Which words drive you nuts?
My most annoying TTC word is...
wait for it....
here it comes...
CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMY.
Makes me want to BARF!!!
Anyone else getting driven mad by TTC words? Do share!!!

I HATE HATE HATE them. I don't use them and I hate when they are used towards me.

I honestly hate that the TTC lingo for period is AF. I remember a friend in junior high said it about her period, and I thought it was gross back then-- and still do. I just think it's a gross way to refer to your period-- even if AF is two letters. I always write period.
Some of the other lingo-- is MUCH easier when on here.. like EWCM. Like, it's really unromantic to say to DH-- I got some egg white cervical mucus baby, let's do it!
Oh, and I also hate BD... baby dance. I try not to use it either, but that one is less offensive to me than AF.

Im w/ Leslie. I friggin HATE HATE HATE when people say "preggo" or "preggers". Its so childish IMO.
I dont mind BD for "the deed", but i dont know what to call it when its just SEX and not for TTC reasons. I feel funny writing sex for some reason

I'm with Randella on AF. "AF" is so jr high, I feel like there could be a better option for this.
And, I'm with Conigs on BD. There are so many words in the english languauge that we use for sex.
POAS. This took me forever to figure out since it is not listed under the lingo link. What gives?
What I hate most is, and it is not TTC related is DH. DH is so very, verly lame.

BD always makes me giggle on the inside. It seems so silly that we can't just say sex. I always use it anyway because I have been sucked in by the message board lingo, but it still makes me giggle.

I use the acronyms because they are quicker to type. I don't EVER say Aunt Flo, baby dance, or dear husband in real life. Even when I'm reading a post and see, AF, I read it as "period".

I am the same way about BD, its funny because we all know what it really meansand its also easier to write
none of the chat lingos drive me nuts, I called both my sisters' preggo and I can't wait until I am called that JMO.

I just figured this out the other day. I was going to post it as a topic when it dawned on me...P-O-A-S!
Anyhoo, agree with the other PP that most of these acronyms are cheesey, but needed for speed typing!

eh, none of them really bother me. I like the acronyms because they are easier to type than a whole word.
I don't even think about AF=aunt flo. In my mine AF=period. But AF is two letters and period is 6. Saves valuable time those four letters

OMG ME TOO!!!!!!! 
But you know what's funny? I did a poll on this about 6 months ago, and only about 5% of the responders agreed with me that these words are completely childish!
Nothing says, "I have the mental capacity of a fifteen-year-old" quite like saying, "I'm preggers!!"

I absolutely hate BD. I don't like it in short version or spelled out. Talk about childish-ug. I always think that people who use this also refer to their vagina as a flower-like Monica from friends.
I use preggers all the time, I like it. I do not like preggo. Reminds me of bad tomato sauce.
