3 words when put together...drive me crazy
"Babe..............come here".
Seriously, makes me nuts.
I'll be sitting in one room, while he's in another, so why is it if he wants something from me or wants a question answered, do I have to go there.
WHY, can't he get up and come to me????????????
I know, silly annoyance but it still makes me
Anyone else get this day in and day out.

It's a Man thing, My Dh does that to me all of the time. But he doesn't call me babe, He will say Roseann Come here and i'm like 'NO' you come here, I simply wont go to him because he asked me to.

I just hate the "babe" I had a GF who constantly called ALL of her boyfriends that.. one after another! That made me nuts!!!!

I'm in the living room watching TV, he's on the computer (with the volume blasting, mind you.)
He says "Wanna see something?"
Ummm not really....I can hear it all the way in here....

We NEVER called each other that and I never really liked it.
We are more honey, or just our names when we talk to each other.
I know this sounds dumb but all the couples I have heard use this all the time---have broken up or gotten divorced---

I do that to my dh. As for "Babe" thats all my dh calls me. On the rare occasions he call me stephanie, it sounds so weird.

That would annoy me too!! Actually what I get is DH screaming my name through the walls from another room...it annoys me to no end First of the house is not that big so why cant he just get up and come into the room??? Now I dont answer him when he screames my name..it forces him to actually get up

OH and I don't mind the "babe" part, that's all he calls me. IF he should say my name we actually laugh, because it sounds funny coming out of his mouth.

My DH only calls me "Babe" as well, hence the screenname, but he is notorious for waiting until I get up to go to the bathroom or something and then..."Babe? Can you get me a bowl of cereal?"
If I don't get up to pee or say go get something from my purse, he will sit there with no cereal, or ice cream, or cookies and milk. Soon as I get up, he puts his order in. Every time!

DH does this to me too sometimes, although I get called "baby" or "hunny"

My father has done to this my mother for as long as I can remember... and I hate to admit that I do it to DH too... ...He's awfully nice about it, though.
