What do you want your child to call your parents and in-laws?

Is there anything you or they prefer as opposed to Grandma and Grandpa?

For my nephew, my mom wants Nonna and Papa Tom


I have been calling my mom Granny as a joke, but it might stick....

Grandma & Grandpa for all but my mom's husband who wants to be called Popsky - which is fine since he's only 38 and I think Grandpa would be weird.

It can be hard when everyone is called the same thing, I'd think. My mom insists on Grandma only and nothing cute, and my 6 neices & nephews on DH's side already call MIL Nana, so we are all set.

My parents will be Nana and Grandpa. My in-laws will be Gram and Grandpa M.

My mom is requesting Nana. My DH's parents have already been named by our nephew and niece.

Both sets of parents want to be called Grandma and Grandpa. It might get confusing, but I am sure the baby will find a way to distinguish them on his/her own.

My parents are Mimi and Papa, my IL's are called Grandma and Grandpa.

My parents are going to be Grammy and Pop.

IL's will be Grandma and Grandpa.

MIL will be grandma

My mom will be called Grandma...this is what she's already called by other grandkids

Fathers wife wants Grandma also so probably Grandma Lane(that's her name)

Boyfriends parents will be Nana and Papa...this is what they are called by the other grandkids

IL's are Grandma & Grandpa
mom: Nana
Dad & stepmother: Poppy & Nana Kate

My mom will be called Nini. Or nee-nee. not sur ehow that would be speeled.
Her name is Jayne (Jay-nee), and all the little kids she watches can't pronounce it and call her NeeNee. It's a cute gramma name.
Not sure about my dad though- he probably wants something really weird like Ohmpah.

Inlaws are Grandma and Grandpa.

My mother is Grandi (for Grandma Judi). That is what my stepkids call her and she is very happy with it.

and DH dad will be poppa (sp?) we think...
But I grew up with grandma and grandpa both sides..it wasnt confusing at all you just added on the last name if you werent sure...

We have Grammy and Pop, and Mimi and PopPop.

My mom and dad will be Grandma and Bobka. My niece could not say grandpa for some reason and always called my dad Bobka so it stuck and that will likely be the name my DD will use.
MIL will be Grandma or Grandma Cath and FIL will be Grandpa.
I'm hoping some cute names sticks for my mom or MIL so there are not 2 grandmas.

In-Laws was Grandma and Grandpa. My niece calls my parents Nanny and Poppy, so I'm sure that's what will stick!

DH's parents already have six grandkids that call them nanna and poppa. Mine will be Grandma and Grandpa.

My mother wants to be Gram (she thinks Grandma makes her sound really old) and my father, who has passed away, will be Pop. IL's will probably be Grandma and Grandpa.

My mom will be "yia yia" - that's Greek for grandmother.

My boyfriends parents will be grandma and grandpa.

my mother is Granny
my father is El D I asked what Josh should call him...he said Josh is going to call me Long Distance(we are in NC)...so L.D. for long distance, then my baby is Puerto Rican, so it became El D. My father is a nut.

his mother is Abuela.
his father is Grandpa Joe, even though his name is Alvin...another nut, he doesn't like the name Alvin
