Nothing unless they are red. Then Vaseline or aquaphore. Rarely desatin or but pase. No rashes so far. (Knock on wood). The Vaseline prevents desatin treats. Not using desatin all the time supposedly prevents them building a resistance to it
Ahhh ok. Thank you
Also look at the amount of zinc in the ingredients I think butt paste has more than desitin
I use vaseline at every change and butt paste if I see redness (after airing them out)

I use Vaseline at every change. If she looks a little red I use butt paste. So far, so good.

Boudreauxs Butt Paste. Loved it!' On the rare occasion my DD had a rash we used Triple Paste.......it's amazing.

Only put cream on if there is redness which is very rare. These creams have chemicals and stuff in them I don't like the idea of using them unless needed.
Me too

I don't use anything on a regular basis. If I notice she is getting a bit red, which is very rare, will put a little A&D on her. I just make sure to let her air out as much as possible.
Same here!

What do you use for each diaper change?
Only when my DD poops will I use butt paste/desitin/aquaphor/A&D (whatever is nearby).
Otherwise if she is just wet, I use baby powder only.
She has only had maybe 2 or 3 real diaper rashes in her whole life (She's a little over a year and a half.)

What do you use for each diaper change?
Nothing but wipes.
If a hint of red, we used A&D or Vaseline. But very rarely.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
I have been changing diapers for 18 yrs. For my oldest I never put anything on and doing that now for my DS. Where I worked some parents did put stuff on while others didnt and I found that the ones that put stuff on with out a diaper rash were the ones to get it.

Nothing unless they are red. If they get red then desitin rapid because I like the smell the best. You don't need much. Try drying off LO's bum before you put the new diaper on, that works the best to avoid rashes.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
With the boy, I'd use A&D or desitin With the girl, I had such a horrible rash... I started using triple paste. I love it. Has a bit of everything in it.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
Since DS was a newborn, I have always used Desitin & he has never had a diaper rash (Knock on wood). Since he was 2 we use baby powder more then anything now and Desitin if he is a little red.

What do you use for each diaper change?
If she's red I put a little triple paste but that's rare. I usually just wipe with a baby wipe and put on a clean diaper

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
we don't use anything unless someone is red. Neither twin started getting red often until they were about 14 months old. We learned that but paste works better then desitin. When they are VERY red, desitin can hurt them going on, where butt paste does not.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
DD is extremely rash prone, her tush is very sensitive. I used to put Aquaphor with every change, but overnight it wasn't cutting it. So at night, I would smear Desitin and it worked. Now that she is a bit older and won't lay still, I use Grandma El's Diaper Cream.. and it works like a charm!! No white residue, and no rash. Its like Aquaphor but it stays on. Its expensive but it helps!

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
I use A&D after every poop, and other creams, like Desitin, if she is getting a little red. I use cornstarch after a bath, just to make sure all the moisture is getting absorbed.

Coconut oil, desitin or aquaphor if he's looking a bit red which is hardly ever.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
I have used A&D but do not like the smell. I used baby vaseline and it was great and smelled good. My daughter has bad skin so now i use aquaphor for her.
All of these were used a t every changing.

What do you use for each diaper change?
Just curious, why do people use Vaseline if the skin is ok? Is it just for extra moisture or something? I thought it was best to keep the area dry...

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
A&D for every diaper change until he was 3. They used it at the hospital and I just kept it up.
I actually prefer the CVS brand though since it doesn't smell like the brand name kind. That has a medicine-y smell to it.
