Soon To Be A Mom And I Need Recommendations On What Bottles To Register For

Hi,

I am due in October. I am registered at Buy Buy Baby. I am NOT breast feeding. I am clueless as to what bottles I should use and how many to get. I want the best (or close to it) so please recommend/give advice.

Thanks,
Keri

I am expecting as well, but I watched my nephew for the first year of his life, and my sister used the Dr. Brown's bottles for him. They were GREAT and really helped with his colic.

We are registering for Dr. Brown's, but we will be getting the glass ones, in light of all the BPA stuff going on.

I would register for enough to at least get you through one day - figure, they eat every three hours, so 8 bottles per day.

I got the Born Free -

I used Playtex Ventaire last time, and just rec'd all new ones for the baby at my Shower.

They are wonderful, and it says on the box that they reduce spit up.

I would suggest getting 12 bottles. You can use anywhere from 8-12 in a 24 hour period. If you have 12, you don't have to worry about having a clean one handy.

Also, if you are using powedered formula, get the Sassy formula dispensers. They have 4 compartments.

Good Luck!

I am going to try to BF and pump. When I pump, she will be fed with Playtex drop-ins because we do not have a dishwasher. The liners and nipples are BPA free. It will make life much easier for us.

I am using Dr. Brown's bottles with my newborn. We also tried Avent, Playtex and Born Free. He was very gassy after everything except the Dr. Brown.

I started Hayley on the Playtex drop ins but she was so gassy we switched to Dr Browns. I think I am going to start DD#2 on the Drop Ins and see how she does
