If you plan to BF, which bottles did you register for?

I want to put a few on my registry. I plan (but who knows) to BF for the first 3-5 months. I'll pump also and wondered which bottles I should get. TIA

i EBF, and since bottles arent that expensive, i didnt bother putting them on the registry....
i bought 3 avent bottles though, and that was it and all i needed. Chat Icon
i had always heard avents were great, and they were (when DD took the breastmilk from the bottle when DH and i wanted to get out and do dinner or something)...

I registered for the Avent and Playtex....

my cousin who had twins and breastfed swears by the Avents and she told me the first years easy pour milk storage bags are the best in her opinion.

I plan on EBF'ing....

I did register for a few bottle brands tho for when Brian wants to feed her, or when I'm out and about and it's inconvenient.

I registered for - due to the BPA concern - only Gerber plastics, and Born Free's. I also got a couple of the Playtex glass bottles.

I BF and pump. I didn't register for bottles. I bought them myself. I use the Adiri Natural Nurser. My DS loves the nipple. It works more like BFing than traditional bottles.

I read up a little and I think I will be trying these..........Avent Nursing System .

When I go back to work, pumping quietly would be agood thing!!! Seeing as we have no employee only restrooms!

When I BF with Kiera I pumped into the small evenflo bottles which you can also put in the freezer. We fed her out of the Playtex disposable which I highly recommend. It caused the least amount of gas because you push all of the air out. It is also easy to clean and you just throw away the liners after each use. Plus you don't have to sterilize after each use.

I loved the Adiri for BFing and pumping. There was no interferance. I plan on using these bottles for #2 as well.

I'm trying to find a nipple my 6 week DD will take. Right now, she just wants the breast. Thanks for your recommendations!

They don't even sell these in NV, and they are on backorder on Adiri!!!!

Re: If you plan to BF, which bottles did you register for?

I went to a lactation consultant and she recommended the Gerber wide bottles with a slow flow nipple.

I had to breast feed and supplement with a bottle of my breastmilk, and it worked! DD didn't get nipple confusion and is now able to take both the bottle and breast.

Also, as an FYI, she recommended that we count to 10 swallows and take the bottle out, breath, and do it again for 10 *****.. and so on. That immitates the breast.
