What brand of bottles did you register for?
And why?
Also, how many bottles (and what sizes do you think we will need?) What about nipples?
And, what bottle accessories - ex: sterilizer, warmers, drying racks, etc.?
We registered today and that was one area where I was LOST! TIA

Re: What brand of bottles did you register for?
I first bought the Dr. Brown's bottles but after all those stories on BPA (whether true or not!!!) I switched to the Playtex Drop-ins. I actually have noticed a HUGE difference in DS gas issue. He doing better on the drop-ins than on the Dr. Brown's.
ETA: I BF/Pump and I did not start giving the bottle until he was 4.5 weeks old. I never bought the small bottles. I bought the 8 oz bottles. I did not want to keep buying bottles.

Re: What brand of bottles did you register for?
We registered for the Medela ones. DD was EBF for the first 10 weeks, and we still BF and give 1-2 bottles of formula/day as well as 1-2 bottles of BM/day, since I'm returning to work. The Medela ones are BPA-free, so I just bought more of them (they're pretty $$, and only go up to 5 oz. each, but they're the only ones DD will use right now).
I did buy the Playtex Drop-Ins to get her switched to eventually, because the liners are BPA-free too. She hates them so far, hence the need for more Medela bottles. But we'll keep trying.
I bought 2 smaller drying racks that I love to put the bottles & nipples, etc. on after they come out of the dishwasher. I also love the dishwasher baskets for nipples, lids, etc (I have 4 small baskets and they're always full!). I don't use a bottle warmer, putting the bottle in warm water for a few minutes works fine for us. And we sterilize everything in the dishwasher, so we don't have a sterilizer either.
Good luck. This was the hardest thing for me to figure out too. Once the article about the BPA in bottles came out, it made it easier (again, depending on what you believe about it).
