Honestly, this didn't bother me at ALL when Jordana was an infant. I didn't dress her in a lot pink, and put her in a lot of blue. I can totally understand how people can't tell. I know I just made the mistake recently. The child was in all gender neutral clothes and no earrings. Its so hard to tell.
What would concern me is that if someone who knew her from daycare didn't know what sex she was. Is this someone who works in her room? That would scare me. But other than that, to me, its not a big deal.
As parents there are plenty of real things to worry about. Your DD is an infant It will pass.

Just because he has long hair and is gorgeous does not automatically mean he is a GIRL
