Honestly - and this is to whomever it applies to, not just the QP - anyone who would come on here to defend someone who went out of their way to start a post mocking someone for a good deed should reexamine their life choices.
Especially when - even lower - that same OP MOCKED someone for donning a mask to make someone feel comfortable and victim blamed someone who was/seems to have once been in a terrible DV situation.
People act all shocked that this gets called out. Her behavior shouldn't be tolerated and she should be removed from the site. That way none of this would even need to be discussed.

Wasn't there a Friends episode about this? They were discussing good deeds and one of them said if it makes you feel good to do a good deed then it's technically not a selfless act I want to say it was either Joey or Phoebe's line, because it sounds like a Joey or Phoebe line, but I don't remember exactly. A Friends fan will probably recall the scene better.
So, according to Friends, that warm feeling that comes from doing good deeds means you're actually a selfish jerk

When you stoop to name calling, wishing her dead, saying she needs to be banned every day is what the problem is, not her opinions whether you agree with them or not.
She can post that that today is sunny and the same group of people will come out and start with her, every single time. That is what derails every single thread. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but if you are looking for behaviors that should not be on a forum, then she is the least of the problems.
I consider myself a pretty level headed person. I don't agree with many opinions on here and I know people do not agree with many of mine but I have never called someone out and called them names. I can't say the same hasn't happened to me. The same group that goes after windy also called me a racist, cursed at me and mocked me multiple times throughout the years. It is not ok.

No name was ever mentioned but I guess YOU forgot when you wanted a pat on the back for doing a good deed too recently. I would guess you do this on a regular basis to tell people how much of a good person you are.
Pointing out places to do things to help others or telling stories and suggesting is one thing but having to tell everyone what YOU have done ruins the entire point of doing the good deed.

I don’t think you seem to understand the things she has said for people to react to her like that. You can do a search for all of that if you like. She has said plenty of things.
-She has called people out and said they need serious mental help after googling online. The problems are usually anxiety.
-She searches on here and looks for anything to say negative things. She victim blames. She probably has a spreadsheet on her wall.
She’s been Hazel, Afternoon Delight and numerous other screen names. WHy she keeps coming back is beyond me. She’s been an issue for at least 10+ years. There are many posts on private FB groups about her.
I have received many FMs from people who say, yes, now I know why you said what you did.
And then you have her and another poster calling people out that they “know more than you think about you.”
And you (collective) don’t understand why people are upset? Yeah, no.

There are several examples listed, and that have been listed elsewhere, that make it clear she repeatedly violates the rules of common decency and the spirit of a chatboard community. It's hard to take anyone who ignores that seriously.
Your whataboutism is irrelevant. Just because others should go, that doesn't mean she should stay. Of course it's not ok that you were cursed at and those people should also be removed or given a warning or whatever depending on exactly what happened. (I don't give a shit that you were called a racist, because to be anti racist we need to get a lot less pissed about that and a lot more about actual racism.)
I highly doubt that if she just posted something positive that was genuinely free of passive aggressive commentary that she would get the response you claim she'd get.
