My Khols experience...UPDATE PG 2
went to Khols tonight cuz they are having a big sale and i needed towels. my friend at work gave me some 15% off coupons to use also. i got to the register to checkout my items, as the girl is ringing me up, i hand her my 15% off coupon and realize that there is a lady next to me who has a pretty big order. so i asked her if she wanted one of my coupons and she happily accepted. then the lady behind me also had a big order so i handed her my other coupon, she happily accepted also. as i am paying for my items, a manager comes us to me and YELLS out "excuse me lady, please stop soliciting in the store" i said "excuse me, i am trying to share my coupons since i have extras" she proceeds to YELL again and tell me again that i am soliciting.
i was kinda taken back by that. the girl ringing me up was shocked also. i thought that was very rude.. i will never go back to Khols again 
ETA: i love when someone gives me their extra coupons, nothing like saving more money

I would file a complaint! I was at Kohl's a few months ago, and the cashier started yelling at this old woman because she gave a coupon to someone else. The cashier was nasty to the woman and told her it was non- transferrable. There are better ways of handling situations, but to embarass a customer is uncalled for and wrong.

Which Kohl's? I was at a Kohl's tonight. I had a funny experience that I am about to post (not involving anyone who works there).

I would call or write to complain. When I go to Macy's and I don't have the coupon with me, they always scan one in for me and for other people that don't have them. I would tell the Kohl's people that stores like Macy's who provide that courtesy will be getting your business and that you will spread the word about the horrible way you were treated by the manager.

I would ABSOLUTLY be contacting a higher up. That was soo nice of you to share your coupons, and if the management didn't want to give 15% off, they shouldn't be manufacturing coupons!

I would DEFINITELY complain about that!!!
I have had situations in stores where I complained and most times I either got an apology or a freebie! 
Sorry that happened to you though! Especially when you were just trying to do a nice thing!

That is ridiculous! It's not like you were promoting your own business in their store! I give away extra coupons all the time and I have never been yelled at for doing it. By giving the coupons to the other customers, you assisted in giving them a pleasant shopping experience which will bring them back to the store. I would call corporate.
