Ashlee and the whole Freeport things was such bs. Girlfriend went to Hofstra.. next to Hempstead!! She has seen worse than a rougher neighborhood in Freeport!!

My favorite was when she was saying how she felt so bad for the way people in Freeport lived, she wanted to give them all a hug!

I'm hoping this show gets canceled because I know I will continue to watch it even though its terrible lol

OMG... Sooo bad! The whole sort of fight scene at that girl Lisa's pool was ridicuous. I think it was Lisa. Maybe Erica.

Anyway... so bad. Amanda's BF is gay. THe scene with him, her and her mom was really uncomfortable to watch. I just want to slap the mom and tell the girl her bf is not straight.

I think the only person I somewhat liked was Joey.

I am Jewish and we are nothing like that. LOL
I am from NJ though so maybe that's why.

There has to be someone here who can relate to how those girls grew up

I grew up in an area that was upper middle class and had a section of very wealthy families. I knew some girls and guys in high school who were like this. Maybe not being hauled out on the back of a manicurist but entitled, out of touch, snobby.

I can't be the only one!

I think anywhere you live, you know people who are like this. I don't think it gives LI a bad name. I think it gives some of these girls a bad name.

And most is for ratings. That one girl is a riot. I laughed so hard at the sneak peak for the season.. Where everyone is fighting and the one girl is crying and whips out her phone and she just goes "mom... Help.....me..."

The BF (who I think last name is also Hoffman based on the comment he made to the gf about her becoming one) reminds me of the actor Rick Hoffman in Hostel.

And he's all teeth but not in a good way.

I am not from LI, but know women here who are like this...............

I was suprised when the one girl said Erica was the IT girl in HS. All the girls wanted to be her and boys wanted to date her. Jeez what happen??? She is just okay in the looks department and is still single at 30.

The Freeport scene is totally staged but I have to admit I know people who act like this when driving through certain areas.

I grew up on North Shore but in Suffolk. There where girls like this in school but maybe not this bad. My friend dated a girl from Jericho that had money. Now her and her friends where exactly like this.

That girls BF is creepy and closet gay. At least he comes off that way.

I suprised that anyone from LI doesn't know someone like this. Take a trip to Roosevelt field mall. I'm sure there is plenty of these girls walking around.

I'm watching it on dvr now, and honestly i know a LOT of people like this..i actually walked into work today and we were telling one of my co-workers how she would have fit in on the show perfectly. And I'd like to know how people who live on LI don't know people like this.

I know plenty of girls who act like this. Some of them are pretty funny and tolerable and others are Ashlees. What was with her dad? How was he finding all of that funny?

I have to say that I found Roger (? one of their fathers) rather entertaining...like when it opened with him calling the dog a pain in the ass.That made me LOL
