That is not true at all. "Average healthy" people have fallen seriously ill from COVID and died. The vaccine greatly reduces the risk of that happening - for everyone
What’s that percentage? I believe it’s very low
It’s not just about surviving though. People are experiencing serious long term effects from COVID and it’s not just those who had a severe case. Many of those long term effects are really concerning to me. I can’t imagine the difficulty of trying to work a demanding job, raise a family, stay active, etc. while experiencing extreme fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath, damaged organs, etc. I don’t know how much the vaccine specifically helps to protect against those effects, but if it can help stop infection in the first place (obviously not as effective against the Delta variant as people hoped), then IMO, it’s worth getting even if someone appears to be healthy.
Everyone needs to weigh the risks and benefits for themselves. I certainly wouldn’t say the vaccine does nothing though for healthy people. While the odds of surviving are good, we have no idea exactly how it will affect any of us who have been fortunate enough to avoid it so far.

What else have they said about them? Did they have prior issues? Nothing will be said except for the ages to scare people.

They aren't? That is why fully vaccinated people are masking up again and hiding in their homes?

Edited since I re-read what occurred. You were using someone's personal situation against them. I remember now that having had issues with anxiety/ppd it struck a chord with me.

I don’t understand posts like this. U said u've been reading her posts for months. If they bother u so much, why would u even want to read them on the first place?!? U chose to read them, it’s ur own doing. There will always be someone we disagree with, we can’t change them so it’s up to us to not let them bother us. U speak of her being condescending? The pandemic has revealed to me how people view the elderly and those with health conditions as having a diminished value and that they are disposable. I suppose that’s my privilege showing that I never really saw that before but now I see it.
Hospitalizations and deaths don’t really matter or count when the rationalization is that they had health issues or are over 60.

I read somewhere that the CDC says the largest age group of hospitalized Covid patients is 18-49 now.
What else have they said about them? Did they have prior issues? Nothing will be said except for the ages to scare people.
