I love all the fun things we can do as a family in the summer time on Long Island. There is always an event, activity, fair, parade, etc. going on. And even when that doesn't appeal to us, we have the beaches, state and town parks, sprinkler parks, Adventureland, Splish Splash, White Post Farms, Aquarium, LI Game Farm, LI Children's Museum....

my favorite thing about LI is the accessibility of so much stuff...beaches, good restaurants, entertainment, shopping etc.

No matter where you go, you WILL hit water! There is something very reassuring about that. I don't like being land locked.

I love LI for so many reasons. Most importantly because my entire family lives on LI and at any time my DD can visit any of them and to me thats priceless.....

I love living in Long Island because I can get to a new state in 30 minutes flat! I grew up in Alaska, and it took 6 hours to get the next city in Alaska!

my favorite thing about living on long island is how close you are to soo many wonderful places - new york city, zoos, museums, beaches, shopping malls, etc.

Family and friends are close by, and we're close to everything we need, including the beach, aquarium and wineries.

How close I live to fun things-- beach only 5 minutes away, fun things to do out East (carousels, small sweet towns, etc) but still convenient shopping, foods, etc.

my family 
I no longer live on LI & they are definitely the best part about it, i miss them everyday and visit as often as I can. Also, the PIZZA! I cannot get enough of pizza when we are visiting, there is nothing like it; ANYWHERE! I even bring some home.

My favorite thing about living on Long Island is the nostalgic feeling. Kids riding bikes, neighbors greeting each other, well kept homes, fun activities, and the sense of community.

For me, the best thing about living on LI is my family. We are all very close and we are all within some driving distance. Makes it super special when we GTG for pizza, Chinese food or bagels
