For a summer christening, can DS wear the short christening sets or must it be long pants?

DS was dressed in a cute short outfit.
However his baptism was in August and the church's AC was not working.
I ended up strippiing him down to a white onesie and that is what he was baptised in!

DS wore a short outfit. I did bring a blanket to cover his legs just in case he got chilly in church.

DS had a short set, my nephew had pants in July and was so hot and flush while taking pictures and sitting in the car.

my son's christening was 7/30 and we wore short sleeves and short pants - down to his knees or a little below! got his outfit at Charlotte's Kids in Wantagh on merrick rd.

Our DS wore a one piece romper that had a vest/bowtie attached with shorts, so cute! We bought it at Little Dickens.

Both DS 1 and DS 2 wore a one piece romper that i got at Macy's that had shirt sleeves and didnt cover their legs. They were both christened in July.

My ds is being baptised next week...and I ordered him a cotton romper...didn't want to wear the polyester ones....wanted him to be comfortable.. I ordered it on amazon.com..they had a huge selection!

My DS will probably be in a shorts outfit. He's being baptized in 2 weeks. When I went to the baptism class at my church they didn't say anything about what the child had to wear.
