What clothing is in for kids?
Help me out. I’m old and have no clue what the current styles are for kids when it comes to clothing/shoes. Kids are in later elementary grades. We have to go back to school shopping today.

What clothing is in for kids?
I don't know what's "in", but in that age, it's basically hoodies and sweats in the winter and t-shirts and shorts in the summer. What have your kids been wearing this past year? I don't think anything has changed much.
But, I'm old too, so I don't know either! I have a 14 YO daughter and I'm just trying to keep her in regular t-shirts instead of crop tops!

I would look at the clothes that they have out and would say that is what is in style.
I am sure they know what they like and what is the newest trends being older.

What clothing is in for kids?
Now that my kids are in elementary school I let them choose what they like. I never want my kids to worry about what's in (if it can be avoided) - I never did. I just always got what I liked.

At that age, I just bought stuff from Target. I like the Cat & Jack brand.

What clothing is in for kids?
My son is going into 3rd grade and still has no sense of what’s in style so he just wears clothes from Target and Kohls. He likes graphic tees (featuring Fortnite, Pokémon, sports) and sweat pants. He also likes sports jerseys. He’s currently very into wearing matching colors. Red shirt requires red shorts…. A few of this friends are the same way.

Wait until they're older - if it's a boy, it won't matter b/c he'll just wear a hoodie over it like my son does. :D

My daughter is 10. I got her high waisted wide leg jeans and flare jeans. They are back. She still wear skinny jeans too, but these are the new ones I got for this year. I got her crop tshirts to wear with the high waisted jeans from target. They are cute. Also Jean jackets, and the layered look. An open flannel with a tank under it. Stuff like that.
So far for my boys I got a couple Henley shirts, or just graphic tees. My 7 year old prefers sweat pants over jeans, so I try to find the tighter ankle ones.

I teach HS and they all dress like that. Hoodie with sweats or leggings. It could be a million degrees. It doesn’t matter.

90's style is back! I am always following the trends.
High waisted, mom jeans, flares, crop tops, smiley face everything, graphic tees, chunky boots or sneakers, flannels, oversized everything. Clogs, maxi skirts, trucker hats and leather are coming back
I would just have your kids pick out what they like.
