I’m starting to see the light...
At the end of this never ending kitchen tunnel
Floor guy has to come in and do 1 more coat of poly and buff out scratches from workers through this entire thing. And then I can finish up with putting it all back together.
Things aren’t perfect but I can’t expect them to be. I’m so happy it’s almost over !

You'd never know things weren't perfect. It looks amazing!
And you will be the only one who notices the flaws, trust me.
I'm the same way. I see every little scratch, imperfection, etc in my own house but in other's homes I don't notice them at all!

The day I saw this house , I walked around and said “this wall goes, that wall goes, this needs to be changed”
The house felt good to me. Like I belonged here but it needed a few things to make it just right. The kitchen was the biggest thing obviously but it’s also the most expensive thing. When we first got married, we went through fertility treatments that cost me a kitchen and half (because it didn’t work, that’s how I see the money we spent. As things I could have had) so I had to live with this kitchen for 8 years. As ugly as it was, it was functioning so I couldn’t justify rushing it, taking loans, etc - tho I wanted to lol
