Oufits for Holiday Pictures (and Christmas!)
We have our Holiday pictures scheduled for November 10th and I need to get DD and DS outfits.
I don't want them to match but I do want them to have the same color scheme.
Where are you finding pretty dresses for my 7 yr old and cute toddler boy outfits for my 3 yr old?
I looked online at Kohls, Caters and Children's Place and didn't see anything I liked.

The holiday clothing is seriously lacking this year- I've been looking for awhile.
I wound up getting DD this dress at Target on Saturday:
It's so much prettier in person... and more red.
They also had a cute red/navy plaid....
ETA: Honestly, Zulily has had some nice options as well. But you have to be careful since they can take forever to ship. Lately I've noticed they've been pretty quick though!

I’m having this headache too. Family pictures around Halloween (so it could be coat weather or dress weather).
We are all going to dress casually with highlights of red. Kids have red dress and red skirt. Boy & I have red shirts. Hubby has dress shirt with some red in it and red jacket. This way, we can layer coats and jackets.

I feel like it's a lot of red. I'd probably go with a green or cream. Very pretty though! The pics are going to look awesome.

Gold would work, too!
I could see DS being in a cream color sweater and jeans/boots or dark pants/boots.

I just got boys outfits (ages 4 and 7) at Janie and Jack. Yes, they can be pricey but I found some pieces on sale. It'll be the last year my older son will fit in their super cute styles so I splurged a little.

I stumbled upon a new discovery (for me at least), Hope & Henry, in Roosevelt Field. Their Christmas outfits were beautiful and very decently priced (dresses under $40 when I was there). Classic plaids, quilted dresses, etc. I think they’d go great with that backdrop.
