Do they have backgrounds or props or is it their normal all black or all white?

No backgrounds, a few props. I went to see the one in Palisades Mall upstate and I wasn't too impressed, but maybe the one near you is nicer in terms of props. They had a big snowflake, a "North Pole" sign and I think a big stocking. ETA: I did ask if all Picture Peoples had the same backgrounds or if any had more holiday themed ones and was told no, they all have plain backgrounds.

My experience with the PP is that sometimes the props are really not well kept. Chipped paint on chairs, scuffed toys...since they dont do touching up on the pics, it can really ruin an otherwise nice picture. I'd say bring a few of your own props just in case.
