Missed BC pill
I know this isn’t “parenting “ related, but I thought this was a good place to ask....last weekend I had the stomach bug and because I couldn’t keep anything down I ended up missing one birth control pill (I am on week #2); I took two pills the next day to make up, and now I got my period. Is this normal?? From when I was in my 20’s if ever I skipped a pill that never happened...I’m in my 40’s now.
Do I stop taking this pack and start up on day 1 with a new pack??

Missed BC pill
What does the insert say? I don't think breakthrough bleeding would mean you need to restart the pack, I'd just continue on with it as usual. I'm pretty sure missed pills are only a big deal if it's more than two but I'd refer again to the insert.

Just keep taking your pills normally and finish the pack. Use condoms as back up, though.
