Know any weird/funny colloquialisms?
I was watching a car TV show the other day, and the test driver said "This car can stop on a dime and give you 9 cents change."

Know any weird/funny colloquialisms?
My DH has a ton, but mostly bc he grew up in East TN mountains. The one that comes to mind now is:
If a frog didn't want to bump its butt on the rocks, he'd grow wings.
A non-pc one:
If my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.

Whenever anyone asks DH how he's doing or how his day is (like in a store etc), DH always responds, "I'm blinking and breathing, so it must be a good day."

This just made me think of another one! I have a patient who always says 'I'm better than some, worse than others' any time I ask how he is.

(When you're trying to get rid of something/someone but it won't go away).. It's like shit on your shoe, you can scrape and scrape it but it still stinks.
A guy I used to work with would use these constantly... and probably others I'm forgetting. I miss him! I just might email him and ask for a full list of his sayings

I use a variation of this all the time. "Don't pi$$ in my ear and tell me it's raining."
Don't get your knickers in a knot, is another fave.
