Nice red wine (American only)

Could anyone suggest a nice red wine? It must be American. Long Island would be nice, but we all know how that goes...

I can spend 50-75$ or so. It's DH's surprise gift and I need to be able to buy it online because I won't have any time to shop when I arrive.

I know a lot about foreign wines, but I have forgotten most of my American wine knowledge. I do know that Cakebread, Silver Oak, Jordan, etc. are good, but maybe something a bit more boutique-ey? Not too oak-y either.

TIA!

I just read a description of this wine and it said hints of espresso. Do you notice espresso when you drink this blend? DH is strange about coffee tastes.

I don't notice the espresso. It's a full bodied red but not overly dry.

Love Staggs Leap - visited there when we were in Napa.

Also love Silver Oak and Chimney Rock. Silver Oak tends to be more pricey but, sometimes you can find a bottle in your price range.

Ridge is my fave California vineyard - the blends are delicious, the Zinfandel is wonderful.
