Best place to buy wine
Hosting a bridal shower where you have to bring your own wine.
I don't drink wine. Other people in the bridal party told me to get barefoot or Woodbridge.
Where would have the best prices in the Levittown, lindenhurst, farmindgale syosset area? Or wherever I go will basically be the same price.
We have a budget and I am Trying to avoid driving to different places to see where the best price is.

Agree and stick with Woodbridge. Barefoot is not good wine. It's popular wine, but it actually sucks if you are a wine drinker.

Agree with ^ about Barefoot - I think it's one of the worst wines out there. Go with the Woodbridge

Re: Best place to buy wine
thanks everyone i guess i will go with woodbridge since barefoot doesnt seem to be a popular choice
woodbridge brand should have a Cabernet and chardonnay correct?
also for 25 people we will have u shaped table so we were thinking one red and one white in the middle and two ends. i am going to get regular size bottles should 5 bottle of each red and wine be more than enough? too much? (though any extras will be split between the bridesmaids)

I would just buy a case....usually get a better price when you buy by the case and they might let you mix red and white in the case. Then you have extras you can give to BMs. Also don't open til needed!!!!!

Go to stew Leonard's. They are knowledgable. Just ask them to give you the best wine that's under X-amount per bottle.

Re: Best place to buy wine
thanks everyone I ended up going to the place in old Bethpage its called bottle value.
They didn't have Woodbridge but they said they had oak grove which was comparable. I confirmed with the other bridesmaids and went with that kind. hopefully people like it.
I got 10 regular size bottles for $98 they do not do deals on cases because they said that they already discount as is.
