Easter Baskets for Other Family Members
Im sitting here ordering stuff to make baskets for my nieces and nephews.. and wondering.. am I nuts?
Do you exchange Easter baskets/ Easter gifts with your nieces and nephews?
ETA: I used to love doing it for my older niece and nephew before I had kids-- Now that I have 2 of my own and 6 nieces and nephews it is a bit much (mostly b ci get obsessive with gift giving and making sure everything is just right) . For my nieces and nephews I am doing for the boys sand pails as baskets w/ bathing suit, flip flops and goggles and one small dollar store toy (kite or bubbles or sidewalk chalk). Girls are getting a spring dress and lip gloss or nailpolish.. I feel like Easter is turning into Christmas this year lol

Nope, we don't exchange Easter gifts. My DC might get something from grandparents, but that's it.
My kids would only be allowed a little bit of candy and we have a million toys already, so it would be a waste of money.

We don't have nieces and nephews but my girls get baskets or gifts from all their aunts and uncles. When we have a niece or nephew I'll will be making baskets/gifts for them.

I have 2 nieces (11 and 2) and I get them a couple little gifts. I don't make a basket, but I put it in a cute little bag. I always get them a few little things Valentine's day too.

We don't have kids, so I don't know if this counts but I make a basket for our niece who we spend Easter with.
I always made one for my nephew. I don't spend Easter w my other nieces, but when I did - I made them. Never anything crazy. Some candy, little toys, bubbles, etc. sometimes beach stuff.

We did baskets for our oldest niece and nephew when they were little and the only kids in the family. Now we have three kids of our own and 6 nieces and nephews so we don't do baskets for them anymore. Just our 3.

Same here. We exchange between nieces/nephew and my kids. But my kids already have so many little toys/stuff that I wish we could just stop exchanging, just feels awkward to bring it up.

We go to my cousins house for Easter so I always bring a little basket for her kids.
My sister just had a baby but they are Jewish - so maybe I'll put together a passover basket.

I wish we could cut it out, but I don't want to be the one to say it.
I don't mind the money, it's more the trying to figure out what to put in them for everyone

No, because all the kids are on DH's side and they don't celebrate Easter. However, if they were going to be at Easter dinner I would make each a small basket because I know dd will get tons of stuff and I wouldn't want them to feel left out.

I used to, but the family just got way too big and, and it got crazy expensive.
Now I get all the kids a box of chocolate with money.

In the past, no, just for our own DC. However, last year, DH's brother brought his kids to our house for Easter (he's separated from his wife). He haven't bought Easter baskets, hidden eggs, etc. for his own kids so I felt bad when they came to our house and we had all this stuff from the Easter bunny.
