same, I don't think I could do it emotionally... maybe if I had a sister who needed me to do it.
I don't have a sister so maybe I would feel differently if I did. My brother and his wife if they needed it I could possibly bc I am so close w my nephew.

Wait--seriously? That guy reserved a right in the surrogacy contract to be able to force her to abort a perfectly healthy fetus? However one feels about abortion rights, that's disgusting.

I could never do it, but I truly admire those who would/have.
I know someone who went through 6 miscarriages. Her sister offered to be her surrogate. One month after learning she (the surrogate) was pregnant, the sister got pregnant on her own. Sister and husband have children who are 5 weeks apart.

After struggling with infertility for several years, and then finally being able to get pregnant, yes I definitely would. For a sister or very close friend.

I could not carry a baby for anyone else, as i had difficult pregnancies and two c sections, nor would I be an egg donor, but I don't have any sisters who would need an egg so it is a moot point anyway.
