Allergist
Can anyone recommend an allergist for my 1 year old? He has peanut, almond, and egg white allergies. His dr recommended that I see an allergist for more testing. I'm in Babylon. Tia!

Dr. Strauss... I believe he has an office in Commack but I took DS to the Westbury location.

I third Dr Strauss. We go to his commack office for my DS with multiple food and environmental allergies. The office is very kid friendly and Dr Strauss is great.

I agree. She is very easy going and takes her time. She also has an office in Commack.

Dr Weiss in Sysosset. He is AMAZING. I drive about 45 minutes to see him. My son has a TON of environmental allergies and my nephew has Peanut/Tree Nut allergies and my sister uses him.
I have to say, and I know experiences vary but I had a really bad experience with Mayer in Smithtown and I know of at least 3 other people who did as well and switched.

My son sees Dr. Strauss also, but we're thinking of doing OIT (desensitization) with Dr. Shah in Centereach. The people that have used him for OIT say he's wonderful. http://www.center4asthmaallergy.com/about-us/about-dr-shah/

We switched to her not too long ago and are very happy. We used to see another dr but I wasn't impressed
