New and going to start TTC after holidays
Hi everybody! Im new to this board. DH and I decided that after the holidays I will have my IUD removed and begin TTC. My question for you ladies, what should I or can I do to start helping it along now? Diet, vitamins, etc

I didn't really change anything that I was doing. I still ate the same, still drank, I did not start taking prenatal vitamins right away though I probably should have. It can take a long time to conceive- we tried for almost a year before our BFP. The biggest thing I would suggest is to start taking pre-natal vitamins and start using ovulation predictor kits right away. We didn't- just winged it for the first 6 months and I don't think we did ourselves any favors. Once I started using OPKs, I was able to nail down ovulation time so we could get the most, pardon the pun, bang for our buck each month.  I used wondfo OPKs and found them to be highly reliable. Start taking prenatals and start using Ovulation Predictor Kits. The OPK's will help you to understand your cycles much quicker.

I suggest as everyone else - start taking prenatals. But I would also educate yourself on your body & the TTC process. You can waste a lot of time thinking you know when you ovulate or how long your cycle is, etc. When I TTC'd for the first time I remember reading on this board about a book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It's an easy ready and reference guide.
