Sprained Wrist -- Ortho Rec, Wrist Specialist?
So, apparently, I sprained my wrist.
I was moving shit at work that I knew I shouldn't have been moving -- but I did it anyway. Heavy stuff.
I guess I twisted it? I don't really remember the exact "oh no" moment but the following day my wrist was KILLING me. I figured it would get better. It has been over two weeks now and it is just pain I can't even describe.
So, I went to my GP and he's like you totally have a bad sprain, how the heck were you going about life like normal?! I was like, IDK, I have a toddler and a job, and it's Christmas, I didn't have time to really focus on it honestly. So, he's like go to a good orthopedist. One he recommended isn't available until mid January. 
Does anyone have a wrist orthopedic doctor that they can recommend? Someone who is friendly and not surgery-happy. 
I'm in Suffolk but work in Nassau. I'll go anywhere as long as I can get in soon and hopefully get some relief.

I saw dr. Ender for my carpal tunnel. He was good. He has offices in east meadow and garden city

I've used Stonybrook Orthopaedic/hand in E Setauket. Female doc, can't recall name

I use them for my girls. Staff is very helpful and I never have an issue getting an appointment quickly.
