Someone a while ago asked when Chic Filet was opening and where, Looks Like Port Jefferson Station October 7th. I posted on Dining board, but i don't think that gets too much traffic.

They were somewhat open this weekend. They were giving away free chicken sandwiches at the drive through as a promotion. I can't believe how many people on my news feed drove there just to get a free chicken sandwich.

There's a small location on the NYU campus, one just opened in Manhattan, the new one in Port Jefferson, and there will be one at the Broadway Mall. (Can you tell I really miss it since moving here last year?) Yes, their politics are the worst, but I'd rather eat there than any other fast food place, and I'd be glad to have another indoor play area during the winter.

i honestly don't get what the hype is. A friend of mine posted the lines that were around the block at the nyc opening this weekend.
it's fast food/mall food court chicken

Its like that though when anything new to the area opens.
Remember when Sonic opened in Deer Park? It was like the second coming.
Once people get a taste of it, or it isn't as unattainable, it will die down.
Personally I never saw the hype with Cracker Barrel either but people talk about that like it's the best thing on the planet!

My fave all time fast food restaurant! Can't wait to go into the city to have it.
Whenever we go to Dutch Wonderland, Sesame Place, etc..it's always on the must eat at list lol
