Has anyone done this?
can you escape room
How was it?
Something similar was on the bachelorette (yes, that's my guilty pleasure) and I'm wondering if this is worth it. Looks like it could be fun!

my friends did it a couple of weeks ago and loved it
ETA...they said its not like the one on the bachelorette...it wasnt scary but a lot of fun

Just saw 13 and up or 15 and up. Is this all year long or temporary?

You would just need to book all tickets for the slot time if you want to take kids under 13. So if you do the beginner room you just need to book 6 tickets and then the ages don't matter.
I'm not sure if it's temporary or not

I did one of these with some friends- the % of people who escaped the one we did was very small and we made it out with only a minute or two to spare. It was a lot of fun!

Sounds so fun! I couldn't do the one on The Bachelorette, I am too claustrophobic for that tiny, dark space but these ones actually look fun...........and not dark.

My son and his friends, age 23, have done this in NYC and loved it. They did not solve it in time, but want to go back. Other friends of his have done it at several different places in NYC and enjoyed the experience also.

I did this twice, once in mineola and last night in long island city. Both were very good and I would do it again.
It's def NOT a place for a 6yr old. Even if you buy all the tickets you're under time constraints and may have tons of papers/files to go through that you need to keep organized and pay attention to EVERYTHING that's going on. You don't want a 6yr old to mess up things. Also, some of the rooms, although not "scary" may be inappropriate for a 6yr old (e.x., sanatorium and club escape in lic. They put bags over your heads so you can't see and the setting isn't kid friendly or even safe, depending on the room.
