St Catherines

I delivered there Dec. 2013 and had a horrible experience, wouldn't deliver there again.

I didn't deliver there but a friend did. All I know is the rooms are all new and very nice.

Re: St Catherines

I delivered at St. Catherines in March. I had a great experience! My labor and delivery nurse was so great. The whole unit is brand new and mostly private rooms (unlike when I delivered there in 2011-had a great experience then also). My doctor moved out of state after my first delivery and I only wanted to deliver at St. Catherines again so I based my new dr on that.

Re: St Catherines

I delivered there in Nov 2013 and I had a great experience. I was induced in the evening and the nurses were attentive when my labor went from zero to sixty, since we weren't expecting active labor to kick in until the next morning. I had a private room, which was fantastic. I couldn't imagine having to share since I was really uncomfortable post-delivery. The nurses were very attentive to me and the baby during my stay, helped kind of "show us what to do" since DH and I had barely changed a diaper before the baby came. They respected my wishes to have the baby stay in the nursery overnight and didn't pressure me at all with breastfeeding, but made it known that resources were available if I desired. Overall I was very happy there and I feel good about preparing to delivery baby #2 there this September.
