If you had a scheduled C/S at St. Catherines...
If you had a scheduled C/S at St. Catherines, what day of the week were you scheduled on?
I am curious to see if they have a "busy" day with scheduled C/S.

I was scheduled for a wed but didn't make it until then - DD showed up the Wed. before.
Also wanted to add that when I got there the ward was FULL - 3 in some rooms. By the time I left it was empty! Some rooms were completely empty and they told my roommate and I that we could split up if we wanted to.

i was supposed to be a friday but then when they called me to confrim it they had to change it to thursday, they said there was to many already on friday...

Yes, this is what they said to me.
I had DS on a Friday and it was PACKED, so I am hoping them changing it to a Wed means it won't be so bad

I had DS (natural) on a Friday and had the room to myself all weekend until I was walking out the door.

Ya i would think it would be less busy on a weds. Next time around i may ask to have it schd for the begining of the week its was very busy by friday evening.

Tuesday.
I think it is each doctor, not the hospital that does them on certain days.
When I was there I was alone in the room Tues and Wed. and had a roommate Thurs and Fri.
That Wed. was New Year's Eve.

I was scheduled for a Friday and ended up w/ my own room for the 4 days.
There were only about 6 babies in the nursery.

I had both of my scheduled inductions booked on a Thursday because they said Fridays were too busy.

With DS1 I was scheduled on a Thursday. It was just before christmas and the maternity ward was quiet. I had a triple room, I had a roommate the first night, she left the next morning and I was alone the next 2 nights.
DS2 I was told scheduled c/s were either Tue or Thu. I had mine on Tuesday. It was CRAZY that day in the maternity ward. My Scheduled c/s was for 3:30pm I didnt have DS until 8:40pm. I think something like 10 babies were born that day. I was in a triple again, my roommate and I had scheduled c.s the same day but she was like 7am, I was 8pm. We left the same day as well. The 3rd bed was never filled.

SIL just had a scheduled C-section today at St. Catherine's...so a Wednesday! As of a few hours ago, she was alone in her 3-person room. She had to be there at 5:45am for I think a 7:30am surgery, which I believe was pretty much on schedule as baby was born less than an hour after that.
