wedding related question..
Hi gals  I am in a wedding in less than 3 weeks and I promised the bride I would ask this question...
Her wedding is on a saturday and the church is in Long Beach and the reception is at the North Ritz Club in Syosset...
If by any chance it rains.. where can we go to take pictures? thanks so much!!
and give me some no rain vibes too if you can spare

The Aborteum may let you take pictures indoors - but you need to pay a site fee.

EAB plaza?? maybe give them a call..we took pics there for my brothers wedding
I also heard something about being able to take pics at SUNY farmingdales horticulture center I am unsure if they have insdie though

My wedding was at the NRC also. I am not sure where she is staying for her wedding night, but we were staying at the Inn at Fox Hollow. I planned on taking pics there in the event of rain. The lobby & staircase there is really pretty. I am sure they have other locations too...
Also, the lobby and bridal suite at the NRC is pretty also. They also have a covered gazebo in the back where some pictures could be taken in the event that it rains.
Good luck to you and your friend and hopefully it doesn't rain!!!
ETA: It didn't rain the day of my wedding and we took pics at the Oyster Bay Arboreteum. She would probably be better off at Old Westbury Gardens though coming from Long Beach. Good luck!!!

I got married at North Ritz Club. There really aren't any *great* picture taking places there except for the outside. I would suggest the Old Westbury Gardens/Mansion for pics as well.

I am trying to figure out places indoor so if it rains we have a back up for pics

Also Suny Old Westbury has some pretty buildings
