Question about Cord Blood/Tissue Banking?
Hi All - I have a question for those considering or who have done this - Did you do just the cord blood or the tissue also?
I am trying to decide what to do......Thank you!

Question about Cord Blood/Tissue Banking?
I just did the cord blood with my son who is now 4. If they have tissue available now then I'll do that also for baby 2... I'd hate to regret not doing it if we ever needed it for something

Question about Cord Blood/Tissue Banking?
I am going to talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment. I'd like to know what each is helpful for. I only spoke with one company about pricing and to do the blood and tissue was a lot more than I excepted...

I did cord blood only for the stem cells, I didn't even really think about doing tissue too... it seemed to cost a lot extra & I wasn't sure it was worth it at the time.

Cord blood. There are no known treatments or trials using cord tissue at the moment.

We did both for both kids- because who knows what the future will bring. Wouldn't want to kick myself down the line
