So I'm all caught up on the show.
And I'm confused by something.
Did he really tell her about the affair?
Because when Alison went into the wife's store she was wearing that black dress and that's what she was wearing when Alison was looking in their living room window. And when he closed the curtains it leads you to believe it was the day he told her.
But the wife didn't seem to know at the time Alison visited the store.
And it's not what she was wearing in his version.
I understand the visit could've been before he told her. But she didn't mention that Alison came to the store and was in the city. While they were at the hospital. I like the idea of having the stories told by 2 different sides. But it can be too confusing. Because they can be so different at times.
But being questioned by the detective makes it seem a lot of time has passed. So I guess that's just their memories over time.
I do like the show though.
It def. is clear that the interviews take place what seems to be a few years later. I have noticed slight differences in what Allison was wearing and her makeup and hair in some of Noah's versions so I think you are right...

I think that Allison went to the wife's store right before Noah went to the hospital, so the wife didn't know yet. Right at the end of the scene at the store, when Allison was leaving, it sounded like someone was telling the wife that her husband was on the phone. I'm thinking that's when he called to say he was in the hospital, and then he told her about the affair at the hospital. That's why the wife said she knew it was Allison.
It does get confusing with the two different versions of the story, especially since sometimes they each remember things very differently.

Thats what I thought at 1st also. Till I went back and rewatched the scene. And someone did tell Helen that her husband was in the phone. Just as Alison was leaving the store.

Anyone watch this weeks? I thought it was a little slow but the upcoming previews look good. It said there are only 2 episodes left, I wonder how they'll wrap it all up in 2 shows. When the detective went to the funeral service at the end, Allison was sitting towards the back and not with Cole and his family. I guess that means they split up??

yes but that was a given in the past episodes when he called her by her maiden name. No longer Lockhardt.

DH and I have actually really enjoyed the past 2 episodes, I think it's been more interesting since they have gone back to their lives apart from each other.
I'm curious to see what they are going to do for the last two episodes, it seems like there are so many questions and things we don't know yet, I can't imagine the whole thing is just going to wrap up and we'll have all the answers. I'm expecting a big cliffhanger of some sort.
Curious to see where this all goes and how they will continue it into another season. Should be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Re: is anyone watching "The Affairs"
Love this show. Though I don't think Noah is remotely attractive at all. Cole on the other hand
I really wanted things to work out for Cole but then I guess there wouldn't be a show :)

Ive been watching i think im behind by 1 episode and i dont love it. I keep waiting for it to get better but it doesnt. I just dont buy the 2 main characters having the affiar. Maybe its a lack of chemistry. Or i dont really find either of them particularly attractive. Im just not that into it.
I'm on The 5th or 6th episode and I agree! They have zero chemistry. It's gross!!!

I think she absolutely knew about the affair. I think she took the high road and didn't want to give Alison any power so she played it cool. Alison left flustered and awkward, you could tell she was feeling guilty........even though Helen said nothing. But I definitely think Helen knew in that scene.

My DVR cut off the end of last nights episode, right when Noah was getting off the bus. Can anyone tell me what happened after that?

Yes, sorry I meant train. I saw Allison and cole turn to look at him and then that was it.
You can fm it to me if you want so it doesn't ruin it for anyone. Thanks!
And yes, its so sad what happened to her son. I can't even imagine what that would be like. It's the worst thing that could ever happen to someone.

I think they were in his apartment. But yes, when they were kissing in the bar, I was thinking that was ballsy since everyone in town seems to know them. But I guess she was at the point of just really not caring. How funny afterwards he made her breakfast and asked her if she wanted to go shopping with him. I think that even though he's a big jerk that he's kind of pining away for her.
