When would you go back to the dr

So on Sunday I went to urgent care for my ear. Had a nasty ear infection. He gave me ear drops and amoxicillin. The drops fro 5 days and amox for 10. Well today is day 5 on all and my ear is still clogged. Only 5 days on amox.

I had a nasty cold to go along with it that seems to be almost gone but my ear is still clogged.

Would you go back tomorrow?

Yes. I had one last Tuesday and was put on antibiotics. By Sunday I was in agony. I needed a stronger rx.

My dr always says if you don't feel better by the 5th day to come on in.

I just had an ear infection. The pain went away around the 3rd or 4th day of the antibiotic. My ear still felt clogged until the 7th or 8th day though. I called and they told me that since I wasn't in pain to wait until the last day of the antibiotic and if it still felt clogged come back in. I would def call and see what your Dr says. Everyone is different.

You may need to go to an ENT and have your ear cleaned out. I had this problem and the ENT was able to suction out the ear and I instantly felt better.

I'd go back.

Especially if they can do something so you don't have to suffer unnecessarily.

Ear drops can cause wax buildup. I had that. Turned out to just be wax. They cleared it and I was immediately fine.
