Oh wow...I guess-timated about an hour for DH. He's taking a half day and wanted to let them know about what time he'd be back in.

mine was between 30-45 mins. The Dr was very thorough. He went through every thing with me, and what it would look like if there were a problem.

Does a Dr or just a tech do the scan? If it makes a difference I'm having this done at LIJ Katz.

I had mine done by a technician and it took 45+ minutes. Baby wasn't cooperating and she was being very thorough.

Actually now that you mention it, i had 2 AS. One was at LIJ also and that was a tech who told me nothing, but the one before at a sonogram place was a Dr.

For the NT scan the tech didn't tell me anything...well she pointed out things but didn't tell me if the measurements looked good or not. Tech was an absolute sweetheart but hoping this time around to at least be told a little more.

Anatomy Scan
Mine was 45 minutes. The tech was very thorough except she couldn't see one thing. The doctor came in, checked everything out and was able to finish what the tech couldn't get (DS wasn't cooperating)

I think it was 20-30 minutes last time, not including waiting time of course. But DD was not getting into the right position, so I actually had to go 3 times.

Mine have always taken around 20-30 minutes. I always had it done by a sono tech in the office.
