Please reccomend your non-girly girl bedroom color for girls
Im honestly sick of the pinks and purples and will be painting their rooms soon. Any recommendations to make it girls without using the obvious colors?
I was thinking of an orange and red/hot pink.. if I can find curtains to match and pull it together.
Any other suggestions?

my DD room is currently green and a bright pink but now i wish i did gray and pink if it wasnt just painted a little over a year ago i would ask dh to repaint it

Their room I green now and I LOVE it! We have pinks and purples in it too.
I was just on pinterest and saw some gray (even light bluish gray) ideas... I like them too!

My DDs room is two-toned with a chair rail - teal on the bottom and a lighter blue on top. Love it.

DD's room is a very pale green on top, with white on bottom of chair rail. There are a few pics in album.
Her room is girly I guess, more shabby chic, than girly with pinks, purples and characters.
Here is a crappy pic of her new bed, since we got rid of crib. The comforter is blues, red & pink.

My DD has pink. I don't love pink but I wanted her to choose her room color and she was very sure of her choice!
We used BM Proposal. It's very subtle.

We did DD's room Blue and Green per her request. After her sister's room was done in pink and purple, she wanted to add those colors so I did with the curtains. Not the greatest pics but you can get the idea. Image Attachment(s):

I have b/g twins and their room is painted a turquoise-y color (Jamaica Bay Blue is the name can't remember which brand though) and it goes well with bright pink and orange accents to girly it up over her crib.

I say a nice turquoise. Not sure how old your DD is, but you could go good and bright if she is older and into that.

I did the same in my DD's room but opposite. Did the cream on top and the pale green on the bottom. Very shabby chic/victorian looking.

DD's room is a darker green (not super dark) with white mouldings, closet, accents and it's awesome looking..we accented SOME pink, but she's not into pink (she's 3) so she's got all kinds of colors in there..haha
