My dad got very sick last month and had blood drawn right in the dr offices but they always ask if the insurance changed & his did but did NOT ask him anything nor did they ask for his new card. They had my parents new ins info anyway bc my mother had visited the office since. Well they ALWAYS confirm the lab you use but this time did not probably bc my father was very sick that day. The bill isn't that bad, but still.

What could happen in this case? How can you fight a lab bill when the office used the wrong info?

This has happen to me- usually the doctor's office will take care of it if it was their error.

Unless you signed something approving that then the doctors office is legally responsible.
