sean lowe and catherine giudici wedding
Did anyone watch? I just finished watching on abc.
They were definitely one of my favorite couples.
the only thing I didn't like was how many times she said "grown sexy".
 I don't think that will ever catch on....

I watched. I do really like them, but I just found some things odd. Like, they were standing so far apart during the ceremony...even when they were holding hands there was so much space between them that her arms were like stretching as far as possible.
Also, I get that they're waiting until they're married to have sex but I feel like that was overly focused on. We didn't need to see him go lingerie shopping, the boudior phtoos, and the camera showing
their honeymoon suite bed like...what was the point of that? All of America really needed to see the bed that they're going to consumate on?
And I also felt like her vows sounded really immature. Almost like they're still in the puppy love stage. She literally said "When I look at you my heart fills with love sprinkles" WHAT??? I guess I just kind of feel like because they haven't lived together or slept together, they're still in the infatuation phase because things still feel "new" and exciting to them.
On the other hand I thought it was sweet that Sean's dad officiated and I loved how Sean broke down after the ceremony was over. I loved Catherine's dress and hair. I really wanted to love this wedding, but I was kind of disappointed how much they focused on the sex aspect of being married and was sort of shocked at how immature their love seems.

I agree about the no sex focus...but thats not on them, thats on ABC trying to capitalize. Even making him go shopping for lingerie, I'm sure that a)he really didnt want to do that and b)if he did, he certainly didnt want to do it on camera
They really seem truly in love and I really hope it lasts.
I'm really curious to see what their reception looked like. I didnt get "grown sexy" from the ceremony space...wayyyyyy too many roses.
SO sweet when Sean broke down at the end....and I loved the beginning of Catherines vows:

I felt she is very immature (and probably him too but she shows it more). They seem very much in love but there is an adolescent feel to it. I hope once the mystery and excitement wears off they still are in love.
And I do t get how that was grown sexy at all! Felt romantic to me.

I agree. It looked very whimsical and romantic to me. Absolutely beautiful, but not "grown sexy".

I didn't watch the bachelor too bc it's not real life. Of course they're going to be in puppy love from this fake life they started out with. Beautiful dates in amazing places. It's just not real. They don't know each other at all. I feel like it's so sweet and romantic now bc it's never been "real." Like one day they'll wake up and are like... WTF did I just do?! LOL
Ok, who knows. Maybe it will work. I hope so. Like when the cameras are off and they are not on some island or in an amazing hotel.

I just finished watching and here are my thoughts:
"Grown Sexy" better NOT catch on. Every time she said it I cringed.
She does seem pretty immature and silly, but they seem to fit together and truly do seem like they're in love. Hopefully it's an everlasting love and not just a blind love that has been built up because of this amazing adventure that they've been on. I don't know...I think they have a shot at making it in the long run.
Her dress was gorgeous. Hated her hair.
The focus on the abstinence part of their relationship was wayyyyyyy beyond what it should have been. And I HATED the end of the show when they were rolling the credits and had the camera focused on the outside of their honeymoon suite, and they had the train and animal noises. Seriously ABC?!

I think they are really in love. They do seem a bit immature, but I think they are just fun and quirky people in general. The decor of the wedding didn't seem Grown Sexy to me, but I get what she was saying by wanting Grown Sexy. She was pretty much admitting they are a little immature, and now they will be "Grown".
I would have never thought of that, but it was her dream, so more power to her. They both seem like great people and I really hope it works out for them.

U'm so glad someone else thought the "live" feed from the honeymoon suite was UBER creepy!!!!
And I hated their ceremony. The music went on and on and on. It was the same 4 chords. There was nothing inspiring about that. Nothing.
The music she walked to..boring.
It seemed that the aisle was 5 miles long and EVERYONE was walking REALLY fast. I know it was live TV and they had to save as much time..but it was so bad.
I felt her entrance was blah.
I also thought the 2 of them during the ceremony were boring. Even thought his dad was great It was like this BIG HUGE space they were standing under, and little tiny people. They needed MORE in that space . I would have loved to see the bridal party standing with them.
And they never held hands. They were blah. And when they DID hold hands it was like a giant chasm was between them. This ceremony had no intimacy and warmth to it.
I do love them. I'm happy there are in love.
But I fast forwarded through most of the rest of the stuff. The grown sexy thing had me hurl. She really is VERY young and naïve. She is VERY green on this earth. Lovely and sweet. But it was like a little girl was getting married.
