Venues on the water for a retirement party?
Can anyone recommend a catering hall or venue that has an outdoor area to hold a party. Anywhere on LI really. Thanks!

These Minus Thatched Cottage. They just claimed bankruptcy and so many couples are now out of a venue! Nuts
Had my wedding at Riviera

Thanks for the ideas! Just curious- Does the Riviera have an outdoor area where you can sit near the water and have a drink? (This is the retirees only request lol).

Just an FYI- Thatched Cottage did claim bankruptcy but is not shutting down. They did it as a financial move to recover for damage from Sandy. They are still holding events

Re: Venues on the water for a retirement party?
I've been to a wedding at the Riviera and the cocktail hour was outside and it was nice.
I also went to a wedding in Sayville a couple years ago that I believe the venue was on the water. I don't remember the name of the place though off the top of my head.
I've never been there but know several people who have gotten married at Chateau La Mer.

These would be my reccommendations too. They all have nice outdoor areas.
Captain Bills does not have a nice patio area on the water. It's on the water but you are looking at a marina. There's also a Prime in Huntington
