Ok so I have another crazy mall story!!!
So today, no joke, I was heading on a straight road in smith haven mall parking lot. A lady between 60-65 ish goes from a parking lane into the main rd. beeps like a crazy woman. I proceed to cont. and even let another young man out of his lane. The lady proceeds to come next to my car in a one way lane and scream at me to get off the phone. Darling, I don't have a phone. No really. I have an office job so I rarely carry a phone. Proceeds to chase me and yes my baby in the car. My dh was in the passenger side calls the cops. Seriously, the lady on the phone could care less, really. I told her this lady was chasing us in this monster truck and running us off the rd on middle country rd and I had a baby. Her response was "do u want to make a report?". No, I want a cop. I told her shes gonna kill someone. I had o go across 3 lanes and make a upturn quickly which she proceeded to do as well and finally I lost her when I went through td parking lot. I called again bc somehow she was back. Again with the report. Finally lost her again. So crazy. What possesses someone? Happy holidays. It's just a mall. In the future, really when you run into road rage, does anyone help or are you on your own? I felt so hopeless. Also where would a precincts have been for that area?
I forgot to add she was throwing stuff out of her car at my car,. Coffee cups, bottles etc...

That's crazy! My blood boiled reading that story! I can't stand people like that, and the operator on the phone! the precinct in that area is the 4th which is a ways from there, but that's no excuse! They should have cars in the area.

you should have seen her. She had black greasy hair and looked like a skinny hag. Her mouth was so irate and disgusting. She looked like she belonged on honey boo boo, honestly. ( but thin). I was embaressed telling the person on the phone her age. 60-65and doesn't know better.

If there wasn't a child in the car the passenger would of had to hold me back from releasing holy hell on her. Always get a license plate # and if they are following you try to find a precinct. It's a shame the operator wasn't doing more to help, what if she hit your car or worse

I couldn't see her license plate. She was in a pretty huge truck and all I saw was truck. Sh was just flying up my tail. It was going so fast like in a movie. We all easily could have taken someone out. It was sick, really. If they had a tape they would have heard me saying that I was trying to lose her. It was crazy.

If anything call about the operator's lack of professionalism.
There's way too many people out there on the road who should not be. Sadly, as we know they can have their license revoked and still make it behind the wheel of a vehicle.

To the OP, I am so sorry you went through that, it must have been very unnerving. You'd think someone of that age would know better. I really worry about my mom driving around with crazy people like that one the road.

Ditto. That's insane.
I actually had someone almost hit me with their car driving the wrong way up a one way street. I jumped back and smacked the hood of his car and shouted that he's going the wrong way. He got out of his car and we had an altercation, so I called the cops. They never showed. Once the guy heard the cops were on their way, he backed down, but if he didn't, I don't know what would've happened. I waited there for about an hour and a half after the incident happened and nobody showed up. They also had my cell number, nobody called. I filed a report about it because that scares me worse than any crazy driver could!

Wow, that is really scary. Normally people are nuts, now add the holidays to the mix and they get even worse! I am glad you guys are ok but I think it's bull that no cop was dispatched to you. Someone could have seriously gotten hurt.

Holy shit!! People are cray!! Do you have her license plate #? I would make a report and I would be FURIOUS at the 911 operator...really..you have to be legit straight jacket crazy to chase a car over something so stupid like that. SO scary. Glad you guys are OK

Ok so I have another crazy mall story!!!
I can remember being stuck on the cross bronx expressway for HOURS from 7pm to 11:30 BY MYSELF at 26 years old, alone, girl, car dead, not working, etc and so much traffic that it took from 7pm to 11:30 before a family member & the tow truck could get there, and the police saying they wouldn't send someone to check on me. I remember being terrified that someone was going to pull up behind me and take advantage of the situation...
