Re: Updated: Bleeding

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I had a horrible experience with an ob in Rockville centre after I had a miscarriage as well. You would think that these doctors deal with miscarriages often and would have more compassion and understand the sense of urgency. After my miscarriage, I found a really great group and I went on to have two children. The same will happen for you. If you would like their information, send me an fm.

Dr. Seraji in Lynbrook is a wonderful practice if you are looking to switch. I would totally not deal with that kind of treatment!

I'm so sorry for your loss and for how insensitive your office was to you. I do not blame you for switching.

I would just like to say, that even though this isn't a "BIG DEAL" with doctors offices, it is a big deal to the person going through it.

100,000% true.

I'm sorry for your loss, but even moreso for the way you were treated by your own doctor's office. When I was have a miscarriage at 7 weeks, my doc had me come in, he examined me, said my cervix was completely closed, and that while it looked like a m/c he couldn't be sure since my cervix was closed. It at least put my mind at ease that he saw me, and attended to me.
