1 yr old biting
my 13 month old DS just started biting more and more frequently. i didnt realize how bad it was until i got undressed for the shower and realized i had bite marks allover my arms chest and face. He used to come at me with his mouth open and would just kiss so sometimes i want to give him the benefit of the doubt but 90% of the time now it ends with a painful bite. I say "no, don't bite!" but he ignores...
Any help?

1 yr old biting
My twins are still biting at 20Months. I am told they outgrow it. I have one twin that bites the other. I can't seem to find a solution

1 yr old biting
My DD started just before 12 months. Lasted about a month to two months. At 15 months she does not bite at all, thank goodness. I just kept saying no biting to her. It was just a phase.

1 yr old biting
DS is 21 months and still biting at times. he had been biting another girl in daycare, they were biting each other every other day, but that seems to have stopped (knock on wood!) he still tends to bit DH and I at times, it's usually when we're playing and he starts getting a little rough or i've noticed when he's overtired. i always pull him away and say no biting, biting hurts, etc but he usually smiles or laughs at me. it doesn't seem to be getting through. i'm just hoping he outgrows it soon!

1 yr old biting
My DD just turned 2 and is still a biter. Started around 1 year old just the way you said - sometimes it would be a kiss and sometimes it would be a bite. Ped keeps telling me to be consistent with time outs. Doesn't work. Daycare keeps telling me it's a phase and she'll outgrow it. It's been a year. I've tried giving her crunchy foods, giving her a vibrating toothbrush, etc to help with any oral stimulation needs. Nothing seems to help. It's gotten much better than it was though. I noticed she would do it and look at me for a reaction, so now I just put her down and walk away and that makes her SO angry, that I think it's what has helped.

Re: 1 yr old biting
Totally a stage!
My son also went through biting me and would go in time out when he did. Eventually it stopped. Hang in there mommies!
