How do you wean your 12 month old to slowly reduce the amount of bottles they want? Im having such a hard time cutting back with my dd. Shes SOOO attached to the bottle.
I know you have to read your child and if shes not ready yet, shes not ready yet. Im ok with that because I know she eventually gets on board with things. (eating took her a lil longer, digesting food and being able to eat bigger portions took a lil longer for her, eating table food) so shes taking less bottles because I do feed her 3 times a day plus snacks and she drinks water BUT shes still taking most of her bottles. My peds recommended cutting the afternoon bottle first and I tried but after she eats she still wants a bottle most days. I try to feed her bigger portions and she wants nothing to do with it!
Any advice would be welcome. I will also be finding out this week about putting her on milk so maybe that will change things. I don't know.

What about trying a straw sippy of milk with her meals? She probably wouldn't take as much as she would from a bottle, but if she takes a little from the cup maybe she won't look for a full bottle after.
