Beach
What are some of the better beaches to go to with a toddler?
I normally go to Long Beach, but truthfully, the parking/walking is a handful with a toddler and the beach stuff.
I haven't been to Jones Beach in forever, which fields don't require a long walk from the parking lot to the beach/water?
How about Robert Moses? I haven't been there since I was young.
Any other beaches?? I'm willing to travel a bit farther east (coming from Northeast Queens).

We like Point Lookout but the parking fee is hefty unless you are a Town of Hempstead resident.

Field 6 is the shortest walk IMO in Jones. It fills up earliest.
Haven't been to Robert Moses in a long time.
I like Long beach, but hear they are tearing up the boardwalk.
Honestly, I just carry very little & keep beach outing short with 2 little ones.
