Single stroller and twins

Did anyone use or wish they had a single stroller with their twins? Before I got pregnant my friend gave me her old single stroller. I'm not sure if it's worth even keeping and storing the single stroller when we're expecting twins and will need a double stroller as well. Did you ever have a need for a single stroller? Thanks!

Re: Single stroller and twins

I have a single stroller and use it all the time. My DD came home from the hospital several months before DS so I ended up getting one to use for her. Now, because of his medical issues I still often use it when taking him to dr appointments or if I go out and run errands with just DD.

I think it's nice to have in case you ever want to go out and just take one baby with you while you leave the other with your DH.

Re: Single stroller and twins

I have a few single strollers that people have given me. I use them a bunch. I have one in our small can that is the car we take if we are separating them and going somewhere with only one baby. We have a third car seat for this reasons also. That way If I need to go somewhere with one of them and my spouse/grandma is with the other, if there is an emergency or they need to go somewhere, they can. Also (mine are only 1.5) I can imagine using it for trips in the future. If there are enough adults, I can see using 2 singles as apposed to a double. All of my singles are umbrella.

I use a single stroller. I have toddler twins and a 7 month old. But even before the baby was born, i used a single stroller a lot. There were plenty of tiems where i took one kid out with me while DH had the other. I would definitely keep it.

We never used one when we just had the twins. They were never apart.

I don't have one but I wish I did! Some times I go out with one or one will need to go to the doctor but the other doesn't and having a single stroller would be easier than carrying them around because I refuse to use the double stroller when I only have one kid on hand

Thanks for the input! I guess we'll plan to hang onto it as long as there is enough room in the house for it
