Things to do near Sesame Place
are there any things to do to kill a few hours in the area like markets/outlets or somewhere to just walk around with restaurants/shopping?
Looking for something near the Langhorne/Besalem area not Philly
TIA

There is a mall right next to seasame place. There is also a great amish farmers market in Newtown, like 15 min away. New Hope is a great town for resturants/shops, About 25 min away. I just moved to yardley recently so still learning new things myself.

Thanks for the info. Im guessing the mall is indoors? I was really hoping to find some outdoor shopping areas - maybe even a park. Is there anything like that you know of?
Thanks again.

Re: Things to do near Sesame Place
It isn't right near there but Philadelphia is pretty close. Last summer, we got a hotel room across the st from sesame pl (Sheraton). This summer, I want to get a room in philly so that we can go to the please touch museum, get a cheesesteak and walk around center city. I think half a day at sesame place is plenty. it is a pretty small park.

The mall is indoors. I dont know of any outlets nearby, but Newtown has a cute downtown with some boutiques and restaurants, off the bypass. Theres a huge wooden park in yardley thats great, but a water park is next door so im not sure if it gets packed since this will be my first summer here.
Ive also heard about a childrens museum in new hope, maybe it would be worth it to check out. I havent gone yet so i cant say how it is.
And I agree with the PP, philly is like 30 mins away, the zoo, and please touch museum are awesome, weve done a.few day trips there and its not a bad trip from here.
