Implantation Bleeding...

This month 10pdo I had what appeared to be implantation bleeding. It lasted off and on for 3 days, DEF not my period as it was a very very light pink and a brownish color but only when I wiped. As had cervical mucus with the same brownish color (sorry, TMI).

Long story short, AF was 2 days late and showed up this morning (AF would have been 3 days late) Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding followed by AF a few days later? Maybe implantation didn't "work"? IDK, I'm wondering if I should be worried or call the doctor and see if this is normal. I was just like to know for future cycles so I don't get my hopes up.

Has anyone experienced this or have an opinion?

Implantation Bleeding...

I sometimes spot for a few days before I get my period. It probably wasn't implantation if you got AF.

I also didn't have implantation bleeding for either of my 2 BFPs

I wish i knew because I have exactly what you're experiencing for the past 2 months! I even felt the implantation cramps (which i felt when preggo with both of my kids)..and for some reason those cramps never went away last month and i got a sono done to see if something was going on, but they couldn't find anything. Went to the ER, and they couldn't find anything. It's frustrating because i know deep down that i was in the process of implantation, and for some reason it didn't stick. Im going to a new doctor next month if i don't get a bfp this month. I hope you find out the reason to your question

Very strange because I never ever ever cramp in the days leading up to my period nor do I ever spot. But last month I did experience the same thing except the cramps were on and off for prob 30min to an hour and then I had light pink spotting like only an extremely tiny amount on the TP, it only happened once that day and thats it. I thought it was very weird like I said especially because I never cramp that soon before AF nor have I ever spotted. I ended up getting my period 2 days later. I'm not saying it was implantation but it was definitely something different for me.

With my first I had no spotting. I actually had cramps and was breaking out so I thought I was going to get AF. My second pregnancy I had a speck of brown spotting and that same day I took a test and the bfp was soooooo faint you could hardly tell if it was positive or if your eyes were playing tricks on you. For the last two years I spot 2-4 days before af. It is normal for it to happen, and very frustrating.

I had the same problem as you for months. After speaking to my fertility doctor, she said that it is more likely that when you were TTC, your husband pressed against your cervix which caused the bleeding several days later. It can be easily confused with implantation bleeding...Hope this helps.
