Pediatric phyiscal therapist
Our ped recommended that DS see a physical therapist for mild torticollis. The one he recommended however does not take our insurance. I'm looking for a pediatric physical therapist in Nassau.

I am a ped Pt. I would highly recommend Linda Finneran from South Shore Pediatric PT. She is amazing. They are located in wantagh on wantagh ave. 785-5257.

did you go through EI? DS had torticollis and we got free services through EI. I wanted to use Linda, but she didnt have my hours I needed.
I used Chris Delaney. LOVE her!!!! truly amazing. 631-988-8338

What would be the benefit to not fixing something like that?
Both of my twins had torticollis and did wonderfully with Linda Finneran.

DD just graduated today!!! Linda gave her a graduation cap!!!!
Her office is now located at 2415 Jerusalem Ave #106 in Bellmore.
Maeve was evaluated by the county first for her torticollis diagnosis, but she didn't qualfy for services. We saw Linda on our own.

DD just started PT for torticollis. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to take your child to PT. The best time to begin is before baby reaches 2-3 months. Left untreated, children with torticollis can have gross motor skill delays.

LOVE Linda!! She evaluated DD for PT through EI. Although DD didn't qualify, Linda was very helpful and just really great with DD.
If you want to go through EI (Early Intervention), just call (516) 227-8661 and tell them you want your child evaluated for PT. They have to set up an evaluation (you can reaquest South Shore Pediatric PT as the evaluating agency) within a set timeframe (I forget what it is). If your child qualifies they would then get the services. Your insurance is billed and then whatever they don't cover Nassau County covers. There is absolutely no cost to you for any of it.

Yes! My son gets PT through EI. If he is under three call them. The eval. And therapy is free if he qualifies.
My son receives thearpy through western suffolk PPT. I highly recommend them. They have been great. They may also work through insurance as well, worth a call.

Just started with kelly settani last week and she's great. I've been stretching DS for months and I already see a difference after 1 week with her session and the home exercises.
